How do we get started?

Shoot me an email or call me and tell me you’re ready. Once you decide you want to work with me, I will send you some available dates and a contract to sign to secure our session. 

How do your packages work?

I offer family, newborn, high school senior and creative branding headshot sessions that are largely digital based. In other words, we create pictures and I show you a gallery of the best and you walk with rights to use and print the digital images. See package rates.

What should we wear?

Most importantly, wear clothing that makes you feel good about yourself. If you are uncomfortable, it will show in your photographs.  Solid colors that accentuate your eyes generally work well - just avoid overly busy prints. Avoid wearing tops that are too close to your skin tone. Try rich neutrals like chocolate, navy, maroon or forest green. Be yourself! Feel free to wear accessories that accentuate your personality like chunky necklaces, scarves, big earrings and funky glasses. Even if you don’t regularly wear make-up, a little bit helps you look more vibrant in the images and less washed out.

Where will my photo session take place?

We can discuss the look you are going for and I’ll offer suggestions for great locations. Outdoor photo sessions are my favorite, but I shoot inside homes, event spaces and studios as needed. If you want a studio look, an extra fee may apply to your session to rent the best space. Some parks and venues require a photo permit that must be obtained in advance, so that will be taken in consideration. I follow the rules regarding permitting to respect land and property. 

When will I get the images?

My goal is to deliver your digital gallery for viewing within two weeks of your shoot date.
